ABOUT THE ARTIST
As a Visiting Professor of Sculpture at the
Central Academy
of Fine Arts, Jiang Miao is
often referred to as the Wonder Woman
of the Chinese art world.
She is well known for her use of woodblock
prints and acrylic paints in
her art that
encapsulate both Eastern and Western
artistic expressions.
ABOUT THE DESIGN
Each item in this exclusive collection is decorated with
circles expressed
in random strokes, as if hand-engraved
by Jiang Miao herself, who is
know for her unique
engraved woodblocks.
The circular motifs, representing perfection and joy,
surround the
Dang Lu, a horse's forhead plate that
is a symbol of nobility. The result
is exquisite,
limited-edition designs that combine Chinese
tradition with
Clé de Peau Beautés advanced
science in celebration of Lunar New Year.
